History of Global Christian Unity
The Call in 2009 and Official Start in 2012
How the Vision was birthed

Minister Duduzile Fortunate Bogatsu, a businesswoman, trained as a marketing strategy expert and researcher, had been busy working in her business then named Fortune-d Africa Marketing Consultants, and through her pet project - the Afrocentric Club- purposed to unite Africans since 2006, to develop the continent through mindset shifting and SME business development; when she was surprised to hear God's voice clearly instructing her to "Unite Christians" in November 2009. It is now clear that God wanted Christians to unite, not necessarily Africans, because God knew far ahead of time these times would come.  God's original and continuous plan is about establishing the rulership/ways of God's Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven, not about earthly desires.  Elohim be praised!

Dudu was born again at the age of 12, and received the calling whilst attending an annual International Pastors and Partners Conference (IPPC) in November 2009 when she was then serving at Christ Embassy Sandton as cell leader, Assistant Head of the Counseling department, as bible class teacher, as well as being in the ministry of giving, the Haven, before she resigned from church membership in March 2013 when the Lord instructed her to commence, with the blessing of her pastor.

Rev "Dudu Fortune" as she prefers to be called, is married to Rev Gibbon Bogatsu for over 25 years. Rev Gibbon is a former Catholic priest and continues to serve the Lord specialising in marriage ministry for 25 years.

Since its formation, GCU and its leadership achieved the following:
1. Led the active campaign in 2012, together with the youth department of SACC, petitioning the SA government not to allow the aggravation of social ills that were instigated by artists that were promoting the kingdom of darkness to promote satanic arts in SA. The Dept. of Arts & Culture received the petition but indicated that it was a constitutional right for the artists. Hence, the Body of Christ needs to unite to claim back this mountain of culture to reinstate Godly values and systems in the mindsets of society.
2. Published the book: "Receive Salvation and Stay Saved" in 2018. Free distribution to newly won souls was done in Soweto, primarily through Calvary Worship Centre, Diepkloof, directly into homes and Bible study groups. One contribution to Media Platforms for God's Kingdom.
3. Ran a revival event in Meadowlands, Soweto in 2017. Partnered with the Boat Ministry.
4. Developed and administered a Foundation school training manual for Calvary Worship Centre International (CWCI), Soweto. Served in various administrative roles at CWCI.
5. Actively participated in various Christian Networks e.g. Christian Voice, Soweto Ministers' Fraternal, in intercessory and social action programs and supported various smaller ministries/churches, through Prayers and various meetings at Beulah Park, Gauteng.
6. Started home fellowships, impacting surrounding neighbours in Meadowlands and Midrand.
7.  Rev Gibbon and Prophetess Dudu participated as active volunteering Christian ministers in RSA who counselled bereaved families and conducted the funeral services in the burial of martyrs who perished at the attack that led to the collapse of the building at the SCOAN, Lagos Nigeria, in 2014.
